My Latest Creation

It all started when he told me that he might be leaving for his secondment in London for 6 months. Since we will be apart for quite a while, I thought of getting him something to bring along.. After much thought, I think a digital photo frame (filled with our photos) would be the perfect gift.

I bought this 7" Digital Photo Frame from Funan. As a tech idiot, I'm impressed when I discovered that the frame not only acts as a photo frame, it can also be used as a mini screen to watch movie, play music and it comes with a remote controller! (Waaaah!!)
To make this gift more meaningful, I thought of adding some "personal touch" to it.
Here's the plan.. I'm converting it into a little Lamb.

Step 1: Shop for materials - a cute little Lamb, material for its body and glue.

Step 2: Glue the wool onto border of the frame

Step 3: While waiting for the glue to dry, perform a "mini surgery" on this cute little Lamb (I feel so sad to cut it apart that I actually apologise to it while doing so)

Step 4: Using little Lamb body to sew a little tail

Step 5: Glue its head, legs and tail onto the frame

Step 6: Final touch up and .............

That's the final product ... Isnt he cute???

Here's the twist, his secondment has been postponed! (Wahhhh!) But I will still pass this gift to him nevertheless as it's meant for him.

Leaving on a Jet Plane...

My childhood friend just told me recently that she's out of love .. And the reason(s) of parting actually quite silly to me (hmm.. but who am I to comment on all these??!!) She told me that if she ever were to be given a choice to choose between bread or love, she would choose the latter. She would rather gave up her promising career for TLC. My reply to her was "I'm greedy, I do not like the idea of choosing.. I prefer both at same time" *tsk*tsk*
She sent me a mgs via MSN the day before that she's leaving Sg for a while to take a loooooong break and she already bought a one-way ticket departing the next morning. *sigh* I wonder when will I see her again... Hmmm.. will she return alone?
Gfs been complaining about their guys, to a certain extent that I begin to wonder what are the guys thinking nowadays? Are gals so hard to please? to understand? Is it very difficult to shower more attention to your love ones? Sometimes, in fact most of the times, what they actually wanted is very simple... Just use your heart to see and feel, you will find out...

Some pics from Brisbane and Gold Coast

Lemmie start with my very first meal in Brisbane! Our dear friend brought us to Sunshine Coast for lunch. The view was awesome, nice weather, big waves though it's abit cold.. It was close to winter when I was there (I will post some pictures later).
We had Seafood platter and Chicken Sandwich from one of the cafe.. Though it's just 2 dishes, it's more than enough for 3 of us to share the food ....

We had Vietnamese noodles (Pho) near where my friend stayed .. It's nice and warm to have hot noodle soup with lotsa chilli padi in the cold ... Though it's not as great as what I had in Vietnam (Pho 2000), but it's still quite yummy.

Movie World!!! That's my lunch in movie world ... I will post some videos of our exciting rides from Movie World and Dream World later

Since I cannot decide between fried chicken or hotdog bun, the best choice is to choose both of them ... tsk tsk .. I simply luvee hotdog bun with lotsa mustard and chilli and ketchup!!

Hog's Breath Cafe in Surfer Paradise ... Somehow or rather I felt that it taste better than what we have here ...

Station Kitchen

We headed for Station Kitchen after Happy hour session. Selection of food is quite limited, there's only Din Tai Fung and What You Do Prata. I had this chicken soup with noodle from Din Tai Fung - not so bad for supper ....
